UEFA ‌has opened disciplinary proceedings ⁠against ⁠Fenerbahce’s Matteo Guendouzi and Mason Greenwood following thesecond leg of ⁠a Champions League playoff match at Olympique Lyonnais, the ⁠Turkish club said.

Football’s world and European governing bodies,UEFA and FIFA, said on Monday that due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, they had frozen all Russian club and national teams out of competitive fixtures indefinitely.  

UEFA is preparing a criminal complaint against FIFA President Gianni Infantino in Swiss courts for possible financial mismanagement over his failed plan to sell future World Cup profits to private investors.

European football governing body UEFA is reportedly set to cancel plans to boycott FIFA tournaments after having received assurances that President Gianni Infantino’s controversial private investment plan would not be revived.
