The Southwest Rapid Rewards® Plus Credit Card (see rates and fees) is Southwest’s most affordable personal cobranded credit card, offering practical Southwest-specific perks like a free checked bag, anniversary bonus points and preferred boarding for a modest $99 annual fee.

Southwest Airlines has spent the last two years overhauling its policies and the customer experience on its planes. Open seating is gone, checked bag fees are in, and lounges are coming.

Southwest Airlines was long known for policies such as no change fees and complimentary checked bags.

For Southwest Airlines loyalists, a cobranded Southwest credit card is a great way to earn points toward travel.
