Our priorities when choosing a hotel are incredibly personal. For some, it’s all about locations, location, location. Others won’t accept anything but five-star luxury. And there are even some who decide where to lay their head for the night based on the breakfast reviews.

World of Hyatt offers 500 bonus points per night on qualifying stays at new hotels. Although 500 bonus points might not sound like a lot, they are worth $8 based on TPG’s September 2026 valuations.

It doesn’t really get better than Kauai. I’ve had the privilege of staying on Hawaii’s “Garden Isle” multiple times in the past few years and not only is it absolutely beautiful, but it’s home to a plethora of great hotels and resorts that are available to book with points.
