The film company behind the Elizabeth Holmes documentary “You Can See Everything,” A24, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DfU_KU3tCMZ/?srtk=dWRmbnBsN3d3Zjk2″ rel=”nofollow noopener” target=”_blank”>posted on Instagram that it granted a request from NASA to screen the film on the International Space Station (ISS).
Unless A24 is deceiving us (why would they?), it appears that some astronauts can’t wait to come back to Earth to see the film that everyone’s talking about, which has reached number one at the box office.
“You Can See Everything,” directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, initially debuted in North America with a limited theatrical rollout. The film has been so successful, though, that it’s generating demand from international audiences.
Sony Pictures acquired the right to release the film in theaters in Germany, Latin America, South Korea, and other territories, though it hasn’t announced its plans yet. The film won’t come out in the U.K. until November 20, while French viewers will have to wait until December 30.
So yes, it is currently easier to watch “You Can See Everything” in low Earth orbit than in London. These hard-working astronauts can take a break from their complex scientific research to address an equally bewildering question: Does Elizabeth Holmes really believe her own lies?
